Dawn M. Spencer Hurwitz (DSH) is a phenomenal talent and has been called a perfume genius by her devoted clientele. Beginning her career as a painter, Dawn came to perfumery in 1991.

Since the early nineties, Dawn has been developing her own innovative lines of ready to wear artisan perfumes called Parfums des Beaux Arts, LLC. The Posh Peasant has chosen six of our personal favorites from DSH inspired by Art, Artists, Literature, and the gorgeous world around us.

DSH perfumes have a cult-like following, with reviews and accolades in many magazines; such as Natural Health, Oprah, Self, Real Simple, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Holistic Health and many others.
