Admit it, you're curious about this fragrance because you love the bottle! Balenciaga Paris is described as a violet chypre but we don't think of it as a chypre; it's far too airy and light without that deep oakmoss base which makes chypres so recognizable.  Balenciaga Paris is a slightly powdery, sheer violet scent with a touch of musk and woods.  It is elegant and clean with just a hint of green.  It seems very easy to like, quite pleasant and pretty.  Balenciaga Paris is an eau de parfum / edp.
